Once upon a time, in a beautiful valley, there lived a sad little girl. She wanted to be a princess, she wanted a castle, a prince, a dragon… She wanted a lot of things. So when one day she found a wishing well, it seemed like her lucky day. Surely now she’d get all the things she wanted, and surely they would make her happy, wouldn’t they?

This is a book about the simple pleasures of life, and a celebration of the wonder and beauty of the world. It shows us that joy can sometimes be easier to find than we think, we only need to open our eyes and know where to look.
