Wild Summer is inspired by time spent swimming in rivers, foraging wild mushrooms, and sleeping out under an open sky in Dartmoor National Park in Devon. Dartmoor is a special place to me, that has provided a lot of creative inspiration over the years. The wild edible mushroom featured in this piece is the chanterelle (cantharellus cibarius) which has been one of my favourite species to find since childhood.
