Feel is inspired by time I've spent in Dartmoor, Devon, especially in autumn (mushroom season!) and especially by river swims surrounded by forest. Living on the Cornish coast, I usually swim in the sea, but I find there's something particularly magical (at least for this forest loving personality type) about being in the water surrounded by trees. It's a different experience that I can't put words to. Perhaps that's why I decided to paint about it instead.

Feel forms part of 'The Illusion of Separation' triptych, a series of paintings celebrating the interconnectedness of all things.
